Job Description

Breeze End Technology is currently looking for a creative and motivated UI/UX Web Designer to join our software engineering team on a contract basis at a fixed project rate. This is a remote, project-based position in which you will work closely with our developers, project coordinators, and digital strategy team to design modern, intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly websites and web applications.

You will help transform business requirements and client ideas into wireframes, prototypes, user interfaces, and polished digital experiences. We are looking for someone who understands both visual design and user experience and can create designs that are attractive, functional, accessible, and practical for developers to implement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design modern, responsive, and user-friendly websites and web applications.

  • Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs.

  • Translate project requirements and client ideas into effective UI/UX solutions.

  • Design interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

  • Create page layouts, navigation structures, forms, dashboards, landing pages, and other digital interfaces.

  • Develop reusable UI components and maintain consistent design systems.

  • Apply usability, accessibility, and responsive-design best practices.

  • Improve existing websites and applications based on UI/UX requirements.

  • Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.

  • Prepare design specifications, assets, and documentation for developer handoff.

  • Review developed interfaces to ensure they match approved designs.

  • Participate in project meetings and design reviews when required.

  • Incorporate feedback from clients, project coordinators, developers, and stakeholders.

  • Maintain consistency in typography, colors, spacing, components, branding, and visual hierarchy.

  • Manage assigned projects and deliverables within agreed timelines.

  • Maintain organized project and design files.

  • Perform other related UI/UX design responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree or professional training in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience designing websites, web applications, or digital products.

  • A portfolio demonstrating previous UI/UX or web design work is required.

  • Proficiency with Figma or comparable UI/UX design tools.

  • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.

  • Understanding of typography, color theory, spacing, layout, and visual hierarchy.

  • Experience with wireframing, prototyping, user flows, and interface design.

  • Familiarity with web accessibility and usability best practices.

  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet agreed project deadlines.
